Ant hill remover

Do you know the coolest way to get rid of those ant hill swarms? BAKING SODA. Yep, just sprinkle a bunch over them and they're completely gone in a day or two. Much better than chemicals, especially if it's near your garden plot.

Wasp problem

Word on the street is that those yellow traps are the best way to kill pesky wasps which are starting to appear in our yard. I've also heard that if you put a shiny penny in a bag with water or put up fake nests, that'll deter them. Other ideas or feedback?

Composting question

We're looking to buy a composter for the garden. I saw a dual composter (think the brand is Lifetime) at Costco today and am wondering...is this a decent brand...and is a dual one really preferrable over a single composting bin?

Calling all gardeners

With spring approaching, I'm thinking that I need to get a list of people who have time and energy to share their gardening knowledge. At our house, we have two raised boxes that will be crying out for attention soon, but I know almost nothing about gardening. Help?
